Waiting ‘round the corner
I hope it’s gonna be good
You smiled at me in the diner
I can still smell the coffee
In the rush hour shove

To get me through each day
A bird feeding in a maple tree
Raindrops washing tears away

For a long time now

To fill the picture up with colour

A block of stone
